i went on facebook at work today and played farmville for ten minutes.
and read the dailymail.co.uk newspaper website.
logged into my home email and replied to six personal emails.
then read the newspaper in the kitchen at work.
came back to my desk and the pile of paperwork had not gone.
so i fixed it by rearranging it to another part of my desk.
then went and ate the last cup cake.
and a slice of bread with honey.
and wrote notes into my work book of what i have to do tomorrow.
'cos it seems nothing much is going to happen today
very sorry.
sort of.
ciao

Your list of not doing anything productive was very organized and efficient and......oh...
ReplyDeleteRJ: Yes, I was rather organised with my statement of laziness.
ReplyDeletedream day. those are exactly all the ways i like to spend my time.
ReplyDeleteat work, i shouldn't be blogging or emailing at all, but it all kind of defines me.
i love to make notes, and lists and plans - so long as they're not about work.
love the idea of rearranging the piles.
keep up the great work
Thanks for the memo.....now can you make 20 copies of this and distribute to all the interested parties?
ReplyDeleteYou get to go on facebook at work?? Linda, I can't even google!
ReplyDeleteIHTW: It is like have a mental health day at work. I wish I could get paid for just doing what I want.
ReplyDeleteThe rearrangement of piles always looks impressive.
Bruce: I shall do an interoffice memo and put them on the pile of paperwork.
Olivia: I can sit on the internet all day if I really wanted to. Any web page. However, I am disciplined enough to make sure my work is done first.
Small business - less pay but more freedom.
Glad I'm not the only one! I guarantee there are fewer people on facebook on the weekends than during the week.
ReplyDeleteHarriet: It is a great way to break the work boredom that happens now and then.
